i'm fitting a cbr600rr tail on my cb500.
I have seen some pics of this mod on this site. Mod by wavie which btw is pretty good...
Can someone tell me if the seat fitted on this bike is tailor made or has it been taken from another bike i.e. off the shelve

hi its of a 05-06 cbr600rr with no mods the only mod is the sub frame. you can tell the difrence between the seat units by the bit that goes under the seat on the 03-04 one they point down but the 05-06 one goes strait withe the sub frame and has a bolt holls on top rather than on the side.

I really like this mod as well. A recent bit of damage to the rear section of my bike will have me changing the tail.
I would actually really like the cb400 tail but these are impossible to find in Australia.
Whereas the Cbr 600rr is quite common.
Wavie is the tail section from a 03 -04 cbr600rr and the seat from the 2005 model cbr600rr.
