Welcome everyone to the CB500 Club forum.

This forum is designed for everyone to get settled in and customise everything as you need it. There are some nifty features posted about. This site is split into four main sections, Home, Forum, Gallery and Profile.

The Home is this page, which contains all the latest news and information, as well as a live chat feature. Forum is where you'll find the new Forum. Gallery is pretty obvious, but you can create your own folders and upload pictures of your pride and joy. And your Profile is where you can tell us a bit about yourself, and upload an avatar!

I hope to see everyone join this new site, and we'll pick up where we left off.

Please notice the 'Contribution' button at the bottom of the page. Any contribution will help keep the site running as you want it.

(NB, If you wish to upload an image, you first have to create a 'Personal Folder'. This can be done in the gallery. Once you have uploaded images, you can manage them. In your personal folder overview, click 'Moderation' Which appears in the bottom right.)

Hi all! It has come to my attention that some of you are still having problems creating your own personal gallery. We still have a few teething problems at this site, but if you all try to create one now then you should be able to create one without issues now.


Also, we will be running a pic of the month on this site, so get uploading!

Here is a non exhaustive list of changes so far,

Obviously, the logo has been updated. A few visual tweaks have been updated too. I'll let you all find them.

An entirely NEW section has been added in the forum called 'Your CB'. This is all the mechanical knowledge and titbits from the old site that are now here. That means this site is the complete CB500 resource. There is no need for anyone to visit the old site now. Don't forget in there you'll find information on modding your CB, and performing maintenance, torque settings, a dyno chart, plus electrical diagrams.

As requested by many, this club's address is now www.cb500club.co.uk. Which is nice and easy to remember. You can still access the site by using cb500club.co.uk, so no need to update your bookmarks.

We have been submitted to major search engines because of it, so now if you search cb500 in google, we are the first link to pop up. Thanks to everyone who made that happen!

Your ranking icons have changed in case you haven't noticed... Now the more you contribute to the site, the more you'll build that miniature CB next to your avatar

Also, there has been an expansion on the 'Diaries and Blogs' forum. You'll find it is now 'Diaries, blogs and articles'. I have moved the articles kindly submitted by fr33flow from the old site to that section. The idea is, if you have some information that you'd like to share here, without it getting bogged down in the forums, it goes here. Anyone can write here, so don't be afraid to get stuck in!

Flags.
Pick a flag on your profile. This will be displayed on your profile and messages.

Badges and Honours
Get badges for doing great things for the club. Displayed alongside your avatar.

Default avatars.
Don't have that perfect personal avatar yet? Well pick on from the club.

Google Maps is back!
The map from the old forum can be seen on the homepage. It lets you find users of the club that are near to you. Follow the links on the home page to submit yourself to the map. You need to be a member and signed into the club to view the details needed to access Google Maps. I don't reccomend that you give your exact address

Club Discounts
Those images on the right of every page will get you tidy discounts on great products. Please read the information before you buy so you give over the right details when ordering.

Club Shop
On the homepage you'll find links to the CB500 Shop. The old designs are out, and there is only one option to buy at the moment, but these will increase over time.

New Moderator
As of today, we have a new moderator, Teamster1975. He will be in the forums with the rest of the mods. You can contact him via the links at the bottom of the forum pages.

Anyone who was having trouble uploading pictures will find there is enough space to upload now, thanks to a few generous donators on the site.

Due to there not being enough room, I have had to reduce the size and resolution the site can accept.

Pics must be jpeg and 800x600px and 80kb or less in size.

You can use this free website to resize pics and download them to your hard drive. It's free and easy to use.
